STYRPUR is a one-component polyurethane adhesive in gun spray format, designed for fixing polystyrene and XPS insulation panels in external wall thermal insulation systems. It bonds EPS and XPS panels to concrete, plaster, brick, wood, and metal substrates, and can be used for mounting XPS to underground building surfaces for perimeter thermal insulation. It is also the practical choice for installing window sills and filling gaps in insulation where a fast, reliable bond is needed.
Shake the container vigorously around 30 times before use to mix the contents, then screw onto the applicator gun. Apply adhesive in an approximate 3cm strip around the perimeter of the panel, about 2cm from the edge, and a strip along the centre. Press the panel to the wall immediately after application and readjust into position using the starter trim as a guide. Light elements are ready to carry load after 15 minutes. Full cure takes 120 minutes, after which mechanical fasteners should be installed — a minimum of 4 per m², and 8 per m² along building edges.
Remove fresh contamination with PURSAN AE 500. After finishing work, purge remaining foam from the gun by screwing on a solvent can and pressing the trigger repeatedly until the gun is clear. The National Technical Assessment ITB-KOT-2022/2373 wyd. 1 has been issued for the product, with National Declaration of Performance No. 03/KP-KDWU.
