PUREX NG CC2000 (formerly known as PUREX NG 0428 NS) is a two-component rigid closed-cell polyurethane spray foam system designed for professional insulation and sealing applications across a wide range of commercial, agricultural, and industrial structures. The system produces a dense, rigid foam that performs equally well on interior and exterior surfaces, making it a versatile choice for contractors working across sectors from cold storage to steel-framed agricultural buildings.
The system uses a modern HFO-type blowing agent with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0) and a very low global warming potential (GWP), making it one of the more environmentally responsible closed-cell options available on the market. Once cured, the foam achieves an initial thermal conductivity of 0.0215 W/mK at 10°C, a minimum core density of 32 kg/m³ in the installed product, and a closed-cell content of ≥90%, which delivers excellent moisture resistance and dimensional stability under both thermal and humid conditions.
PUREX NG CC2000 is particularly suited to applications where the insulation layer must resist mechanical impact, moisture ingress, and temperature extremes. Its low water absorption (≤0.14 kg/m² by partial immersion per EN 1609) and a water vapour diffusion resistance coefficient (μ) of 50–60 make it highly effective as a barrier in cold stores, food processing facilities, agricultural sheds, and industrial roofing. The system operates across a temperature range of -30°C to +80°C in service.
Applied using specialist high-pressure plural component spray equipment, the system delivers consistent layer thicknesses of 20–60 mm per pass, with successive layers applied at intervals of 5–10 minutes. The surface must be clean, dry, and degreased before application. Component A should be thoroughly mixed prior to use, and raw material temperatures at the spray head should be maintained at 40–50°C. Full mechanical properties are achieved within 24 hours of application.
The product carries CE marking and has been assessed in accordance with EN 14315-1:2013 + NB-CPR/SG19-17/167r2. It also holds ITB approval no. 02674/23/Z00NZM confirming mould resistance, and has been assessed by Instytut Techniki Budowlanej for VOC emissions to indoor air, confirming compliance with permissible concentration limits for all room categories. For professional and industrial use by trained operatives only.
Available in Ireland and the UK through Spray Foam Direct Distributions.
